Volt Thrower is a unique rocket launcher in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel manufactured by Tediore. The Volt Thrower is obtained from the mission No Such Thing as a Free Launch located in Triton Flats.

Special Effect

Helios, we have a problem. – Always shock. Increased rocket speed, magazine size, elemental effect chance, and elemental effect damage. Reduced explosion radius.

The Volt Thrower is a relatively standard blue rarity launcher that sacrifices damage for accuracy.

Trivia

The flavour text is a reference to Jim Lovell's often misquoted statement, "Houston, we've had a problem," during the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission. The line was spoken as, "Houston, we have a problem," in the 1995 film "Apollo 13".
The Volt Thrower is the only unique rocket launcher in the game.
