Hyperion repeater pistols are very accurate but they have the feature of "reverse recoil": the longer the accuracy increases the longer the trigger is held. The listed accuracy on the weapon is what is achievable after the sustained fire increases their accuracy to maximum.
The Vision utilizes the Hyperion pistol barrel which gives it more benefits than it usually does with other weapon types. The advantages of this weapon are increased accuracy, +33% bonus on critical hit damage as well as reduced recoil. The downside of this gun compared with other Hyperion pistols are smaller magazine size. Another trait of the weapons with a Hyperion barrel as a reduced base damage in Visions is leveled by the coincidence of the manufacturers of gun and barrel.

The variants of Vision in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel commonly spawns with Hyperion's new-style materials and prefixes which are the same as in Borderlands 2.
