Viral Marketer is a legendary shotgun in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel manufactured by Hyperion. The Viral Marketer is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.

Fwd: Fwd: Fwd: Lol check this out guys – Always corrosive. Projectiles fired ricochet off surfaces. Increased accuracy and recoil reduction rate, decreased projectile count and reload speed.

Usage & Description

Despite the low projectile count, the Viral Marketer's bouncing projectiles can be used to great effect against crowds, or fast moving enemies.

Its fixed corrosive element hinders the weapon slightly in areas with limited armored enemies, but the Viral Marketer's increased accuracy and reverse recoil allows it to easily land critical hits against common enemies.

Trivia

"Viral marketing" is a marketing strategy utilizing popular social networking services to increase awareness and sales. The flavor text is based on chain emails, which are repeatedly forwarded to other users and gain several "Fwd:"s in the email title as a result.
The Viral Marketer uses the same weapon skin as Hyperion's Conference Call, a legendary shotgun from Borderlands 2.
