Vanguard is a tier 2 skill in Athena's Phalanx skill tree.
It gives Athena and any allies health regeneration while the Aspis is raised. The rate of health regeneration increases as the Aspis absorbs damage.

Notes

The skill will restore the health of friendly loaders on the Lunar Launching Station.
The base regeneration is based on Athena's Max Health, so it might be interesting to increase combine Vanguard with skills like Stalwart and Clarity of Purpose, or with COM's such as Gladiatrix, Celestial Gladiator or Eridian Vanquisher.

Trivia

The vanguard is the front portion of an advancing military force, whose chief purpose is to scout and secure the area.
