The Valkyrie Squad is a trio of some of the most advanced Maliwan Mechs created by the weapons research project "Valhalla". They serve as the first bosses of the Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite mission, where they attempt to stop the Vault Hunter intruders from gaining further access into the facility.

The Valkyrie Squad has an increased chance of dropping several legendary items: Crader's EM-P5, Frozen Snowshoe, Good Juju, Juliet's Dazzle, Redistributor, Version 0.m, Re-Charge Berner, Red Card Re-Charger, Tankman's Shield, Vosk's Deathgrip, Zheitsev's Eruption.
