RE: Volcano card
How is this a modded gun? It's a level 48 weapon that shows level 36 because of proficiency. --Nagamarky 16:41, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
- Judging by over a dozen legitimate Volcanoes I've received between level 45 and 61, and looking at the average damage per level on the data set on the Volcano Discussion page, it's obvious that an equipped level 48 (much less a level 36) Volcano, regardless of Dark Orange rarity status, could not have a damage value of 826.
- Nonetheless, we cannot adequately represent Legendary Weapons with an equipped weapon whose "Level Requirement" is 12 values less. It suggests to uninformed readers that a weapon of such lopsided damage potential can be obtained in Playthrough 1 (level 36) without the Secret Armory DLC. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xyl (talk • contribs)
Go ahead, try it for yourself. Level aside, these are the parts for the Volcano: body4, barrel5, mag3, Maliwan_1, level 48 --Nagamarky 04:48, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
RE: Aries damage cap
The 1319-damage Aries is body5 mag5 barrel4 level 61, and you can't get any higher damage unless you mod the prefixes. Savage bumps it to 1371, so that's probably where you got it from. Unfortunately, Pearl is the only legitimate prefix for the Aries. --Nagamarky 04:00, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
Weapon infobox elements
For the sake of a uniform layout, can we stick to using
|element = Any
such a format for displaying elemental accessories? Normal comma Any is only going to confuse people further. --Nagamarky 03:32, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
- my apologies to both of you. [[Elemental Damage|Any]] was my idea and i encouraged xyl to make the distinction of w/ & w/o elemental damage. my bad. 04:10, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
