Variant Link

Thanks for the tip on variants link.

I only recently started contributing so all this is rather new to me, still learning the ropes. I thought the opposite of Off should do the trick, it seemed to work just fine on other pages.

Thanks again

"Off" isn't working too =) Like any other text besides "yes". Actually I am just inserting Russian interwikis. Totally not a pro here. NDX (talk)

The template is configured to read "on" or "yes" as a trigger to activate the variant link. I've tested and "on" does appear to be working correctly. If you know of a page where it fails could you link it please? -- WarBlade (talk) 08:21, November 27, 2015 (UTC)
Ol' Rosie page doesn't have variant link now with "on". That's how it looks on my screen. NDX (talk) 08:38, November 27, 2015 (UTC)
Fixed. Any others? -- WarBlade (talk) 11:26, November 27, 2015 (UTC)
Maybe will be better to fix this template? To work with on or yes. Or insert variant link by default. Russian template behaves so: inserts on every page except "variant link = no" pages. It's more convenient, IMO.
P.S. I see, it didn't work because of spaces in the end? NDX (talk) 12:15, November 27, 2015 (UTC)
I think it's a VisualEditor bug. There was something like an invisible underscore jammed in there from one of the edits. -- WarBlade (talk) 03:46, November 28, 2015 (UTC)
Seems to be 2 bugs at once: editor's excess symbols and parser's switch function's multiple values with equal results - only last value works in this case. Because yes works despite these symbols. And something wrong with Lascaux page - it displays empty at me. NDX (talk) 09:54, November 28, 2015 (UTC)
