Your use of gold

Considering 5 Shots or 6 (and every other skill page that you've polished to a bright sheen): why is "Chance to Add Bullets" in gold? It makes the phrase superficially resemble a hyperlink. Dämmerung 00:54, January 25, 2013 (UTC)

I considered using a different color because of this issue, but at the time I couldn't find a color that stood out and wasn't too distracting. After going through most of Salvador and Axton's skills with this gold thing I'm starting to regret it, I'll probably go through it again and change the color or find some alternative way to make those parts of text stand out without it being as confusing. I'm sorry but I tend not to see things I want to fix or change until after I publish everything. BoinkVX (talk) 02:24, January 25, 2013 (UTC)

I understand what you're doing in the info box-- mimicking the typography of the in-game tooltip text-- and that's fine. But the contrasting color in the Effects sections of each page is distracting, works against the style sheets, and does not add any additional information. Let's not continue golding that, ok?

While the pages that you're refining very much need the TLC that you're showing them, sometimes it's best to open up a forum post discussing changes before embarking on giant global deltas. Consider honing one page to your definition of "good enough," then offering it to the community in a forum post for commentary. Dämmerung 18:38, January 25, 2013 (UTC)

One more caveat: Management strongly discourages (via blocking for extended periods, one month or more) unfinished global wiki rewrites. This sounds grim-- you volunteer to mop the Augean Stables, only to be told that if you don't finish, you'll be executed?? Holy ingratitude, Batman!-- but it's absolutely necessary to maintain consistency. That forum post might recruit other hands to help you in your work, or else might scope the work to something that can be finished in whatever time that you have. Alright, thanks for the feedback I've never done wiki editing before so I really appreciate the criticism. Sometimes I get carried away with all the colors and awesome effects. Also I'll try and get the rest of the abilities done, it's not that I don't have the time or effort, I just never considered it would be a bad thing to work on this at my lazy pace. BoinkVX (talk) 23:01, January 25, 2013 (UTC)

Hey, lazy absolutely isn't the word I'd use, considering the number of edits you're making. Just finish what you start. That's all. Thanks for joining us. Dämmerung 23:03, January 25, 2013 (UTC)
