Strategy

Shocking, isn't it, no end tree abilities? And no "signature" abilities like Radiance? What madness is this?

This madness is focused on making your guns as good as possible, and giving you extra survivability via Phase Walk. Recommended mods are either Tormentor, or more appropriately, Mercenary. Your main focus will be elemental weapons of all kinds, and a good Mercenary mod will have bonuses to Quicksilver and High Velocity (preferably a 4 on HV), and ideally SMG ammo regen in place of SMG elemental chance or Girl Power bonuses. Strongly recommend a Hellfire SMG (of the Thumper, slower fire rate, higher damage and accuracy, variety).

With this loadout and a good Mercenary mod, however, you will be running roughly 40-45% increased fire rate, and 160-180% faster bullet velocity, with 32-36% more damage. All of this with the ability to kill two to three enemies, phase walk, kill two to three more, and continue, prolonging your phase walk that extra four seconds to almost definitely regenerate a full health bar (and a decent portion of shields).

Girl Power is absent due to the utility of an extra four seconds in Phase Walk relative to it. That extra mobility is huge. If you find yourself using melee somewhat infrequently on close range enemies (I do when reloading), Striking could be an adequate substitute for Diva. Inner Glow, however, is a must, along with Hit and Run.

Why this build? I got tired of killing myself or my car with Phoenix and Radiance, due to random explosive barrels everywhere and cars suddenly being hostile to you when parked. The ammo savings from Phoenix are...more or less pointless, the damage is lackluster, and honestly, being able to go from 5% HP to 95%, behind a Lance, and shooting him in the head while he wonders where you went, well, that's just fun.
