Tyrants are massive, solitary saurians encountered in Borderlands 3. They are met on Eden-6, in the grotto of Jakobs Estate and the Wayward Tether.

Tyrants are often found with other Saurians, but rarely other Tyrants. Tyrants are surprisingly fast for their immense size and prefer close-range fights.
Tyrants have the following attacks:
- Bite - massive bite at close range.
- Fire breath - sprays a spread of fire.
Notes
- On True Vault Hunter Mode and Mayhem Mode, it is renamed to Dominator.
