Trevonator is a legendary shotgun in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Maliwan. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Private Beans located in Athenas.
Special Weapon Effects[]
Trev is gunna get you! – +400% weapon damage. +3 magazine size. Shoots a burst of 3 elemental orbs that explode on impact. No weapon charge up time.
Usage & Description[]
Due to the burst fire mode, the gun launches 9 projectiles in a fraction of a second. Combined with the dual element of Maliwan weapons and high fire rate, it can cause massive damage in close to mid-range combat.
Trivia[]
- The weapon is named after Trevor Eastman, a Borderlands fan diagnosed with cancer. At the request of Eastman, Gearbox invited him to play a preview build of the game and name an item after him in the game. Trevor lost his battle with cancer and passed away on October 2nd, 2019.
