The Thunderfire is a legendary laser manufactured by Maliwan added in The Claptastic Voyage. It has a chance of dropping from Self-Loathing and Despair.
Special Weapon Effects
Light 'em up. – Always shock elemental. Shoots a beam that emits a small incendiary nova upon hitting an enemy or object, reduced fire rate, consumes two ammo per shot.

The weapon is a perfect match for Athena players taking advantage of the Ceraunic Storm skill tree, as mealstrom stacks are gained from shock or incendiary damage. this weapon is basicly a most have for athena player spect in to ceruanic storm.
