Thresher is the name given to the most basic type of Thresher. In Borderlands 2 they are only known to appear in the Natural Selection Annex. In Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel they are only known to appear in the Outlands Canyon.

Threshers have attack methods similar to Turf and Tadpole Threshers as they can spawn separate tentacles around them as well as leap out of the ground to higher places. They can also use long range melee attack as well as creating a shock wave by slamming their tentacles into the ground.
Notes
- In True Vault Hunter Mode, they are renamed Red Rock Thresher, and in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, they are renamed Tremor Thresher.
