The Flood is a legendary pistol in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Jakobs. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.

Take us. – Fully automatic firing mode. Increased fire rate. Reduced accuracy and damage.

Usage and Description

Compared to other purple quality Jakobs pistols of the same level, The Flood has worse accuracy and less damage per hit, but the firing mode and tremendous fire rate makes it out-perform in damage output. Due to the low accuracy and strong recoil, hip fire in close quarters is recommended for using The Flood. It is also a valuable weapon in getting a Second Wind.
