The Flood is a legendary pistol in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Jakobs. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Lagromar located in Konrad's Hold on Pandora.

Usage and Description[]
The Flood should be used as a close-quarters, low-capacity submachine gun, due to its stats making it excel up close. Hip fire in close quarters is recommended to properly handle its massive recoil.
The Flood's critical ricochets can also put out a lot of area of effect damage, though the player will find difficulty achieving this consistently due to the gun's high recoil and reduced accuracy. Reloads will also be frequent.

- The Flood reuses the animations from typical Jakobs pistols despite being fully-automatic. Hence, the user will fan the hammer at an absurd rate when firing.
