Thanatos is an Legendary Machine Pistol manufactured by S&S Munitions.

Usage & Description
The Thanatos' special effect basically turns a pistol into a large-magazine SMG. Mordecai, the Pistol specialist, can make exceptional use of the Thanatos: handled like an SMG, it gets all the skill/mod benefits granted to pistols. "Double" versions of Thanatos offers an alternative to Anarchy SMGs.
What makes the Thanatos so interesting is that the special effect comes from the magazine, meaning there is no limits to the variations available on the Thanatos: Elemental, double, etc.
