Infected Tendril is an enemy introduced in Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary DLC. They are found in almost all areas in the DLC.

Infected Tendrils lay deep within the mutated plant growth waiting for their unsuspecting victims. Once they enter their attack zone, they spring out unleashing a barrage of slag-charged projectiles.
Infected Tendrils have three very distinct and easily recognizable critical hit locations. Due to their relatively small size and rapid movement, weapons with high spread and elemental rounds are preferred.
Notes
- When destroyed, Infected Tendrils drop some ammo and cash and, on rare occasions, Health Now! vials.
- In True Vault Hunter Mode and in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode they are renamed Necrotizing Tendril.
