It might be worth noting that this machine is the only one that stocks coms along with weapons, at least that I am aware of. It's unfortunate that it breaks when you leave the area. Worth adding to the entry? [[User:Matrixcubed|- PSN : Matrixcubed]] 23:44, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Do not accept this quest at low levels, all the weaponry is at least level 30 required and will more often than not be out of the price range of the player. With the vending machine's habits of deactivating later the machine would be rendered pointless.[[User:Arkayn71|Arkayn71]] 01:28, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

I've played through this DLC three times and all three times the vending machine works unless I leave and then come back. When I leave and come back it doesn't work and the coupling is no longer on the vending machine. Anyone else have this problem or is it supposed to be like that? --Gory Chief 01:00, December 16, 2009 (UTC)

Don't know, possibly a bug. This vending machine sells crappy stuff anyway, no big loss! Soma4themass 01:02, December 16, 2009 (UTC)

I tried finishing the quest related to the vending machine, but didn't turn it in for the reward. After returning to the area, the vending machine was broken again, but once I turned in the mission, it started working again. However, after leaving the area and then returning, the vendor went back to its broken state. At least by doing this it is possible to access it again, even if it's only temporary. My experience: I finished this mission at level 35 and all the Jakobs weapons for sale in this machine were level 40. There was a 600-some damage sniper rifle that looked interesting, but I figured it wasn't worth buying something just to hang onto it for 5 more levels (but might have reconsidered if I knew this machine would never be usable again). However, just by sheer luck, this proved to be a good move as immediately after there was an awesome Dahl Desert Penetrator (380 damage, full auto sniper) for sale in the regular vending machine for $1M that I wouldn't have been able to afford if I'd bought the 600-damage one. And sure enough, by level 37 I've already had an enemy drop a 600-some damage sniper rifle that was usable at my current level (but that's not enough to get me to switch from my full-auto one)98.111.221.59 11:05, March 19, 2010 (UTC)Creeper
