Question: How are supply packets distributed among players in multiplayer? 85.180.142.252 02:19, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

Ammo Regen per drop

As far as I can tell, ammo regenerated with each drop is 10% of the player's maximum carrying capacity. Since I've only really payed attention to it after draining my Combat Rifle ammo with The Chopper, it would be nice if others can confirm this with other weapon types. How it regenerates grenades though, is a different question. It's hard to tell if it's percentage based since you can only carry a maximum of 9. StarPilot 21:41, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

With a dark orange shotgun SDU of 200, a single pack returns 25 ammo, so I think the ammo reeturned per pack is 12.5%, assuming it does not change per weapon or per SDU. 74.142.221.22 06:47, August 5, 2010 (UTC)

Today, I tried testing this while bored using repeater ammo as a base, as it has a nice maximum of 800 rounds. If the above is correct, a supploy drop should return 100 rounds. However, each drop returned 99 rounds instead while the weapon was drawn, and seemed to return (significantly) less when a different weapon was held. However, checking the ammo count was done almost immediately after the drop was recieved, which may have "clipped" the amount of ammo returned. In addition, after exhausting shotgun ammo and switching to a sniper rifle, supply drops seemed to return no ammo for any weapon, although I only had three weapons with spent ammo. This bug (if it is in fact a bug) repeated itself over two or three deployments of the scorpio with the rifle out, and only seemed to be remedied when I had at least one shotgun shell again.

Tl;dr version: Supply drop seems to return 12.5% ammo to held weapons, less to others, and may or may not be bugged if a weapon has 0 shots remaining. 74.142.221.22 06:44, August 21, 2010 (UTC)

Supply Drop vs. Stockpile?

If I have 5 points to put into one of these skills, which would be the better choice?
