Me and my droogs killed the Sheriff yesterday without killing any of the Deputies (as far as I'm aware), and they all suddenly turned friendly when she died. Anyone else had that happen? Evil Tim (talk) 07:17, October 31, 2012 (UTC)

I just killed her solo. Having quite the trouble with not shooting the deputy since I'm Anarchy built (I'm using Gaige, by the way) with no Discord. Somehow, I managed to lure the deputy (I surveyed the area before I assassinated a marshall on top of a house from behind, and I only saw one deputy, Deputy Winger) and the sheriff away (behind the houses, to be more specific) and killed all the marshalls before killing the sheriff. The "do not shoot the deputy" objective didn't untick before everything went into "turn in", so I know I've done it right. The deputy is still shooting at me, so it's either that only happens if you only shoot the sheriff until you killed her, or what happened to you is an isolated incidence. I agree with TapSiLogMACHINE; I just killed her solo (sniper in the face until nearly dead, then a spiker fire pistol. Toasty!) and the one remaining marshal and the deputy were still hostile. Is weird, you'd think that at least HE would become friendly/neutral with his messages over the loudspeakers. Unrelated: I didn't use it at the time, but if you can get up to the upper area by the elevator, the various mooks don't seem to follow you, and next to the electrically protected gun box is a cliff overlooking the sheriff's office. --Azaram (talk) 06:58, February 8, 2013 (UTC)

And boom goes the dynamite

If the Deputy's Badge is a reward for not shooting the deputy, then killing him in some other way does not count against you. Playing Krieg, I was up on the high part next to the electrically protected car trunk, sniping at the marshals and the sheriff. They shot me up enough that I jumped down to go into Buzz Axe Rampage, but got me before I could kill something to heal and went into Light the Fuse. I ran up to the sheriff, and the deputy followed me and was right next to me when I went off. The dynamite explosion killed both the sheriff and the deputy, and the one remaining marshal all at the same time, and I got the badge. --Azaram (talk) 06:47, June 11, 2013 (UTC)
