If you are trying to use your Friendtrap to maximize healing potential rather than DPS, the best element of weapon to use is corrosive. Unlike fire, corrosive DOTs can proc in vacuum, and corrode lasts longer than shock or cryo. I've not tested what weapon is superior as to procs/time: Vladof machine pistol, Maliwan SMG, or Maliwan beam laser. Skippopotamus (talk) 23:58, November 21, 2014 (UTC)
