Gatling Gun Barrels[]
Am I missing something here? The barrel on this gun looks like one of the standard sniper rifle barrels shared amongst many other models (example, example, example). It clearly has a high RoF and a large clip, but I don't think the barrel is unique. WhackyGordon (talk) 18:58, October 4, 2012 (UTC)
- I don't have a White Death to check, but if it's the standard twin rotating barrel then no, it's nothing unique. It's on the Diaub (Jakobs), Scout (Dahl), Droog (Vladof), Competition (Hyperion) and Rakehell (Maliwan). Evil Tim (talk) 19:13, October 4, 2012 (UTC)
This and Lyuda[]
The trivia here previously claimed that Lyuda was renamed White Death, but I picked up a Lyuda on the 19th so that can't be true. The stats look the same (Vladof Droog derived), same effect. Is it possible they changed "White Death" to "Lyuda" and not the other way around? Has anyone else got one called White Death? Evil Tim (talk) 08:32, October 21, 2012 (UTC)
I got a Lyuda from a slot machine on the 18th. I have never seen a White Death in game, but you can definitely still get Lyudas. Zerobit4 (talk) 08:41, October 21, 2012 (UTC)
- I'm thinking they intended to name the weapon after Lyudmila Pavelchenko (who was called "Mankiller") but mixed her up with Simo Häyhä and gave the weapon the wrong sniper's name. It wouldn't make sense for a Vladof weapon to be named after Häyhä since he wasn't Russian, he was killing Russians. Most likely whenever this was patched "White Death" ceased to exist as a valid title for weapons and all subsequent White Deaths have the title Lyuda instead. - I just got a White Death on the 22nd. They still drop. Haven't seen a Lyuda at all. Is it possible this is a platform or region difference or something like that? I'm playing the North American version for xbox. WhackyGordon (talk) 22:15, October 23, 2012 (UTC)
i have not been able to ascertain which patch changed the white death to lyuda. it is possible that your .sav files have not been updated with that patch yet.

- I just obtained a "Dobby White Death" from the Jackpot on the slot machine in Sanctuary... While its signed It was on July 9th, 2013. My game is fully up to date and I have all 4 DLC. Perhaps the Drops were changed to Lyuda but the Slot Machines were overlooked? Karbuncle (talk) 02:37, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
