Pointless disambiguation[]
Isn't this completely pointless since there's a hatnote on top of each pointing at the other? All it does is assure everybody has a splash page instead of half of them. It's generally bad wiki policy to do this: see WP:TWODABS — Ilvandel (talk to me) 22:17, November 13, 2012 (UTC)
On second look, it seems all weapons do this. The staff should reconsider this policy. — Ilvandel (talk to me) 22:26, November 13, 2012 (UTC)
- The problem is that internal links are NOT supposed to link to this page. happypal (talk • contribs) 22:41, November 13, 2012 (UTC)
- I've been fixing these, but internally, all these need fixing:

- This begs the question why have a disambiguation if A: Nothing links to it and B: Half the people searching (Or really everybody) are looking for one of the two instances, and in the event of the wrong instance they're already on a page with a hatnoted disambiguation to the other option? If Hellfire were moved back here then nothing would have to be changed save the bl2 weapons which should point at bl2 — Ilvandel (talk to me) 23:28, November 13, 2012 (UTC)
Remove disambiguation because of "Hellfire" vs "HellFire"[]
Should we remove the disambiguation? As the title implies, the weapons don't actually have the same name. We could just:
- Hellfire (Borderlands) => Hellfire
- Hellfire (Borderlands 2) => HellFire
That said, please consider moving any of these two pages with care, as they are one some our most linked to pages... happypal (talk • contribs) 12:02, January 11, 2013 (UTC)
