Weapon mechanics[]
This gun most likely does not fire two projectiles. The way the Chulainn works, is that it fires a slag projectile, and the red-text effect creates a shock splash that deals 100% weapon damage, and the Frostfire probably works the same way (fires a cryo projectile that has 100% incendiary splash). I have not edited the article, however, because I can't really confirm that it works this way.
HOWEVER, anyone who uses the weapon can easily see that it does not fire two projectiles, or else you'd be able to see it (like with the Fridgia). Most likely I will eventually test this somehow, and then come back and change it.
