Unique is used to describe a weapon that is not of Legendary color ( ie. purple, blue, green ) but still has the red flavor text. The Excalibastard is " unique " in that it only spawns once per character, but does not qualify as a unique weapon as described on the category page. -- 13:42, October 24, 2014 (UTC)

I noticed that the page says that the Excalibastard can not be obtained from the Grinder, but I have now done so not once, but twice. I think the newest update changed that. I have a picture from teh Grinder uploaded as proof.

While I know that it would be possible to use cheats to generate whatever items you want, I have not done so. This was the results of several days worth of testing purple items on the Grinder after the update. It would be difficult to reproduce, but I did manage to get two after about a week of on-again, off-again grinding. If anyone else can test it and reproduce it, then I would like to update both this page and the Grinder page to reflect this new abilty to get this item from the Grinder. The Damned OCR (talk) 19:24, November 17, 2014 (UTC)

Dumb noob question that I cant of a any other place to put: Is this the only laser with a melee attachment? Im only about 3/4s thru first playthru and Ive not seen another laser with a bayonet and there's no mention in the main page of that being an accesory unique to Excalibastard so I was wondering. Unique Legendary categorisation

Why is this article only listed as Category:Legendary and not also Category:Unique, is this just an oversight? I'm not familiar with weapon article etiquette. -- zuriki (talk) 05:29, October 24, 2014 (UTC)
