I have noticed this as well, it took 3 or 4 lives for me to understand this was the cause of all my problems. Took forever to make it through Hero's Pass on PT1 CollosoNeil (talk) 09:28, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

Strongest nova damage in game accusation

The article says it's the strongest nova damage in game, but I have one stronger than the only example. Is there anything to back this up or did a user just get overzealous at the strength nova shields can have? — Ilvandel (talk to me)   21:17, November 21, 2012 (UTC)

Further Problems

This shield is utter crap. When the Nova occurs, all enemies get dragged towards you, while you have NO SHIELDS, making you easy prey, before the guy that killed you, as well as his teammates scarper off, leaving you to bleed out. Can I add something to the Usage mentioning this drawback please?

A drawback to some is an advantage to others; It's supposed to help you get up in FFYL due to the amount of enemies now surrounding you. If GBX didn't think it were beneficial in some way, they would buff it or remove it entirely. CrackLawliet (talk) 20:19, March 28, 2013 (UTC)

What Crack said. Additionally, it breaks their momentum, so their attacks cease and you have time to regain control of the fight while they recover. If you're an Assassin, I can see why you wouldn't be having much luck with it. But it's excellent for Mechros and Sirens. Lavisdragoon (talk) 20:45, March 28, 2013 (UTC)

Utter carp? The last time I checked it was the only source of damage that I needed with my Mechro, and I only needed to slag people to make it easier for them to die. Sigularity effects are extremely strong, if used correctly. Combined with incoming damage to the singularity point, damage becomes indiscriminate against everyone. There are many effects that cause sigularity and all of them can have the potential to strip multiple enemies dry (so to speak). 15:52, June 14, 2014 (UTC)

This shield has returned in BL3. I got it from a chest so no farming information available.
