I tested this ability with the Jolly Roger, which fires 3 shells per shot, and it turns out that sometimes I would get 2 ammo back from the shot causing it only to consume 1 shell. Can someone confirm this?BoinkVX (talk) 00:48, January 8, 2013 (UTC)


I'd like to see how this skill interacts with multi-bullet weapons; whether it truly "does not work" with those weapons entirely, or whether it simply refunds one bullet instead of the full four. Also, does this effect rocket launchers at all? I'll do some testing on this later... Kefkakrazy (talk) 20:15, February 6, 2013 (UTC)

That I know of, I'm fairly sure it does affect Rockets since I used to use it on occasion while leveling to "regen" rockets or to breeze a room by blowing everything up with "limitless" rockets Anon8792 (talk) 06:05, February 16, 2013 (UTC)

Money Shot testing methodology[]

  • Respec Sal to this. Equip a War Dog classmod for greater chance of 5 Shots or 6.
  • Enter Caustic Caverns on Normal Mode.
  • Fire weapon until one round remains in the magazine.
  • Kill a Varkid or Spiderant with melee.
  • Fire the remaining round from the weapon. Observe: does the ammo count fall to 0, or does it rise to 2? Does Money Shot audibly proc?

Empirically, the Money Shot proc depends on the ammo count falling to 0 (though points in Inconceivable can leave it at 1 and stll Money Shot -- note that the test build deliberately excludes that skill). Either 5 Shots or 6 increases ammo count, or else Money Shot procs. The two skills work at cross purposes, DPS-wise. Dämmerung 18:50, August 2, 2013 (UTC)
