TMP is the title of a group of common pistols in Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. They are manufactured exclusively by Vladof. The TMP commonly spawns with the Dahl, Maliwan, Tediore, and Bandit barrels. It is randomly obtained by any suitable loot source.

Usage & Description

These are the most average pistols manufactured by Vladof. They have good accuracy, very low recoil, decent magazine size and a high reload speed. Blue quality TMPs have very high, sustained damage output and are worth gambling for in Sanctuary before any difficult encounter as their damage over time is considerably greater than that of most other equal level weapons. They can be won reliably in a few scores of attempts.

Borderlands 2
- Stalker - Pearlescent pistol which fires slow-moving projectiles that bounce off of surfaces up to four times each, as well as the additional effects of increased damage, reload speed, capacity and an extremely high fire rate.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
- Angry TMP – Unique (but common-quality) variant of this weapon as Claptrap's starting weapon.
