T-Bone Junction is an area that appears in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. It is made up of a few cul-de-sacs, connected by roads and ramps to each group of apartments and stores.

Purpose

Its role is similar to Fyrestone and New Haven, in that it serves as the main hub for missions, trading, and travelling to the other areas in the DLC.

Inhabitants

NPCs that have taken up residence here are Scooter, Marcus Kincaid, and Dr. Zed. All three have their own respective shops. Later in the game you break Athena out of Lockdown Palace and she lives in the back of Scooter's workshop.

Only Scooter, Marcus and Athena offer missions throughout the game. Dr Zed only maintains his infirmary with the medical vending machine.

Trivia

  • A "T-Bone" or broadside collision is a type of auto accident where the side of one vehicle is struck by the front or rear of another vehicle or a fixed object, forming a "T". Given the vehicle-centric nature of the expansion, the reference in the zone name seems obvious.
  • In the lowest section of T-Bone Junction (with the hanging buildings with walkways around them), go to the building at the end, you will find a weapon crate, to the right of it on the wall is a switch. Activate this to unlock the door on the other side of the building, there you will find a shrine of Lilith and a fridge. (The fridge has a Loot midget inside.) This is an Easter Egg considering that if you zoom in on the poster or Lilith, it has been changed, and the midget is level 61.
  • On Marcus Kincaid's store counter, there is one of many racecar toy models, except this one has an active NPC; all he says is "Hey, have you seen my gun?"
  • In Dr. Zed's infirmary, there is a mutilated arm behind him sticking out from under a curtain, but there is no body behind it.
  • It is possible to drive and walk on the dunes below. To achieve this you must spawn a racer and drive it to the edge, pushing it off with a knockback weapon. Then teleport into the vehicle from any Catch-a-Ride station. An alternative is to drive off the edge and change seats in mid-air - this is only possible with a Monster or Racer. The original area you will fall into is a red screen, getting out of the vehicle in the red screen area will kill you instantly. Drive to another area to safely exit the vehicle.
  • On the uppermost part of the town (the level on which Dr.Zed is located) behind two parked dull-colored racers is what appears to be a fisherman. He is sitting over the edge and there's a fish still hooked on his fishing rod. This fish seems to lack texturing, as it has a white and blue checkered texture that would usually be used for testing purposes.
