Synergy (Borderlands 2)

Synergy is the title of a group of common pistols in Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. They are manufactured exclusively by Hyperion and feature the Vladof barrel.

Usage & Description

Hyperion repeater pistols are very accurate but they have the feature of "reverse recoil": the accuracy increases the longer the trigger is held. The listed accuracy on the weapon is what is achievable after the sustained fire increases their accuracy to maximum.

Due to its usage of the Vladof barrel, the Synergy has higher magazine size, higher rate of fire and reduced recoil but decreased accuracy compared to other Hyperion pistols. Therefore, the Synergy is a reliable pistol with medium-high-capacity magazine for quick killing at a distance from short to medium, especially in the hands of Zer0.

Notes

In addition to the Synergy, a variant of this weapon exists in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel as the Expeditious, made by the "old" Hyperion.
The Synergy is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
The Synergy only comes in green rarity or higher.
