Super Soldier is a legendary shield in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Anshin and is exclusive to the Director's Cut DLC. It can only be obtained by unlocking the Fallen Heroes Vault Card.

Usage & Description[]
The Super Soldier's buffs are very useful both in combat and outside of it, with the increased movement speed allowing for better mobility while the higher fire rate allows for better DPS. The ammo regeneration is surprisingly helpful in combat, with it regenerating ammo even while firing, often allowing for more shots to be fired before needing to reload. Ammo regeneration appears to occur at a fixed rate based on percentage; magazines with lower bullet count fill slower than those with higher ones.
While all of these buffs are temporarily lost when the shield breaks, the bubble gained upon shield regen allows the player to take full advantage of the bonuses for a few seconds without needing to worry about taking damage.
Moze with Phalanx Doctrine skill can take great advantage of this shield, as her shield capacity will change whenever she gain or lost Phalanx Doctrine stacks. Combing with shield charging skill like Full Can of Whoop-Ass or Force Feedback, she can trigger invulnerable barrier much more frequently than other classes.

- Due to their lack of a magazine, holding a COV gun will cause ammo to be added into the reserve instead.
- This can be used to generate free ammo for any weapon type made by COV.
- Take This! will appy the bubble provided by the shield to FL4K's pet.
