The Sun Smashers is a Bandit clan lead by Vaughn in Borderlands 3.
History[]
After the Clan recover a piece of the Vault map, Vaughn tells them not to mess with it, however they rebel against him in terms of giving it to the Children of the Vault. After Mouthpiece is killed, the Calypsos broadcast to the Vault Hunter footage of Tyreen killing the Sun Smashers. The Clan only turned in the Vault map for guns and money, and Tyreen saw this as a betrayal, as she offered a place in the cult for them. After the Vault Hunter gives Lilith the vault map, they break down the news of the clans demise to Vaughn. Vaughn is infuriated and declares a Blood feud with the Calypsos.
