Storm Front is the title of a group of legendary grenade mods in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Hyperion, Vladof and Tediore. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Under Taker in The Droughts on Pandora.

Special Weapon Effects[]

Very, very frightening – Always shock. Spawns several child grenades that chains lightning to multiple enemies.

The lightning does not count as splash damage for the purposes of skills such as Means of Destruction. A hotfix on 2019-10-24 changed the beam grenades to no longer count as splash damage.
The Storm Front has fixed parts, so any two versions from the same manufacturer will have identical stats.

The Storm Front is a returning grenade mod from Borderlands 2 but is now also manufactured by both Hyperion and Tediore along with Vladof.
The flavor text is from the song Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen with the full line being, “thunder bolts and lightning, very very frightening.”
