Special Weapon Effects
Tut, Tut, it looks like rain. – Decreased projectile damage, increased elemental effect damage, accuracy and capacity. On impact, 6 or 7 short lived orbs of electricity are created, which shock any enemy in their vicinity until they dissipate.
Usage & Description
The Storm is best used against tightly packed groups of enemies, since its area-of-effect blast damages every individual enemy and due to its shock element it also eats through their shields quickly.
On the other hand, being a Maliwan sniper rifle the damage is notably reduced and the fact that it is always of shock element hampers its versatility. This weapon is not designed to be a "one shot, one kill" sniper rifle, and can be easily surpassed by other powerful sniper rifles.
Notes
- Like with all shock weapons, Gaige has the capacity to put this weapon to a greater use with her Little Big Trouble skill tree.
Trivia
- The flavor text is a reference to A.A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh. In order to deceive a group of honey bees, Pooh pretends to be a little black rain cloud and Christopher Robin utters the flavor text.
