Episode Summary[]
Anu's escape
At Atlas headquarters in orbit around Promethea, research scientist Dr. Anuradha Dhar is fired from her job after her demonstration of a device that teleports objects to an unknown destination fails to impress CEO Rhys Strongfork. Immediately afterward, the planet and the HQ are invaded by the Tediore corporation in an attack led by CEO Susan Coldwell. Anu escapes to the planet surface in a rescue pod to protect her brother Octavio, who is, unbeknownst to her, already reluctantly fighting the invading forces. Octavio attempts to hide at his employer Fran's froyo shop, but is tracked to its location. An encounter with the soldiers who arrive soon after ends with them tossing multiple grenades into the store as they retreat. Anu arrives at Fran's just as the grenades explode.
