Stagecoach is the title of a group of common shotguns in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Jakobs.
Usage & Description
The Stagecoach is the double-barreled variety of the Jakobs shotgun family. While it shares the same base damage per projectile with the Scattergun, it has the highest pellet count of 8, and fires a very large amount of pellets (up to 25) for a fittingly high damage output per shot. This comes at the cost of having the lowest accuracy out of the three, alongside using 2 ammo per shot.
The Stagecoach can spawn with three unique barrel accessories:
- A muzzle brake that increases damage by 10%.
- Iron sights that decrease reload speed by 10%.
- An additional barrel under the main barrel that decreases reload speed by 10% and increases projectiles per shot by 50%, but decreases accuracy and accuracy bloom by 10%/20%, and decreases damage by 25% (despite being listed as -20% on the part card). Stagecoaches with this barrel will use 3 ammo per shot instead of 2, and the single-shot varieties will have three shots per magazine.
