Spring Stalkers are tail-less and as such lack stings for ranged attacks. Instead, they approach invisibly then leap at enemies. The entire path of their leap is a single melee attack. When close to an enemy, they always move away to line up another pounce. On True Vault Hunter Mode their attacks become corrosive but they are not immune to corrosive damage.

Spring Stalkers are very easy to deal with. They can not change their trajectory mid-jump so all it takes is to move aside then hit them with a shotgun once they land. They tend, most times after a failed attack, to rise their heads up in the air and let out a distinctive roar. This leaves them completelly vulnerable for several seconds.

In Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, they are only encountered in Research and Development.
