Sponge is a Seraph Absorb Shield manufactured by Vladof. Sponge can only be obtained from trading with the Seraph Vendor in the Badass Crater of Badassitude.

Usage and Description
Sponge is a somewhat improved absorb shield without any special characteristics that make it different in use from its other counterparts. It has higher-than-average capacity, and can spawn with Maliwan capacitors that grant elemental resistance.
The lowest possible absorb chance of Sponge is 20% (if the body, battery, and capacitor are of Bandit manufacture) and the highest possible absorb chance is 54% provided the body, battery and capacitor are manufactured by Maliwan, at the cost of reduced capacity and recharge rate.
