Sponge is a Seraph Absorb Shield manufactured by Vladof. Sponge can only be obtained from trading with the Seraph Vendor in the Badass Crater of Badassitude.

Highly absorbent! – Increased capacity and bullet absorption chance.
Usage and Description
Sponge is a somewhat improved absorb shield without any special characteristics that make it different in use from its other counterparts. It has higher-than-average capacity, but is exceeded significantly in absorb chance by The Sham. Unlike The Sham, however, Sponge can spawn with Maliwan capacitors that grant elemental resistance.
Absorb Chance
The lowest possible absorb chance of Sponge is 32% (if the body, battery and capacitor are of Dahl manufacture, which reduces special effects on shields) and the highest possible absorb chance is 53% provided the body, battery and capacitor are manufactured by Maliwan, at the cost of reduced capacity and recharge rate.
