Sledge's Shotgun is a legendary shotgun in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Jakobs. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Hot Karl located in Devil's Razor on Pandora.

Special Weapon Effects

The legend (still) lives – Fires a 2-round burst. Greatly increased magazine size.

Usage & Description

Sledge's Shotgun should be used as any other Jakobs shotgun would. It boasts high burst damage through its legendary effect and good sustained damage with its massive magazine.

Notes

A Sledge's Shotgun with the "Super" prefix will fire a 3-round burst.

Sledge's Shotgun is a returning weapon from Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, being once again of Jakobs manufacture as it was in Borderlands, but being functionally similar to its Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel iterations.
Sledge's Shotgun has a unique double-drum magazine that appears similar to Bandit shotguns in Borderlands 2. Due to its unique magazine, it uses the reload animation of Torgue assault rifles.
The weapon's flavor text references its return through multiple games.
