*Contrary to popular belief, even when Tector Hodunk turns into Grieving Tector, he '''can''' spawn this weapon upon death. (confirmed Dec. 23, 2012) (Reconfirmed by another player on Dec. 26, 2012, as I just had a Murduring Slagga drop from Grieving Tector during Rakkaholics Anonymous.)

Slagga is a Legendary Submachine Gun manufactured by Bandits. Slagga is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Tector & Jimbo Hodunk located in The Dust.

Special Weapon Effects

blagaga  – Always Slag element. Fires 3 slag projectiles per shot at a cost of one SMG ammo.

Usage & Description

Because of its high projectile per second count and decent Rate of Fire, this weapon is a very versatile one. It can be used as a slag and swap weapon, only requiring a very small amount of time to slag an enemy. This is particularly valuable to Gunzerkers who can utilize its massive magazine while dual wielding to maintain DPS while still slagging to support the weapon in their other hand. This weapon's multiple projectile per shot also leaves it as a very ammo efficient weapon to use without swapping. You can use this weapon to support AOE attacks such as Bonus Package or Storm Front, tossing out grenades and slagging as many enemies as possible in their effective area. If you're lucky enough to have one drop with a blade accessory, the damage output can be lethal on a melee build character. With Close Enough from Gaige's Best Friends Forever skill tree, Slagga's low accuracy and high rate of fire become a valuable asset, as the bullets are likely to ricochet into the targets from multiple angles.

Notes

  • Contrary to popular belief, even when Tector Hodunk turns into Grieving Tector, he can spawn this weapon upon death. (confirmed Dec. 23, 2012)
