Skag of Survival is a respawnable mini-boss encountered in Borderlands 3 during the Trial of Survival.
Background
Skag of Survival is a unique skag found on Gradient of Dawn where Trial of Survival takes place.

Strategy
- The Skag of Survival spawn imbued with a random element, and once its health is depleted, it will be imbued with a different element, either fire, shock, corrosive, cryo or radiation.
- The Skag of Survival behaves much like any other Badass Skag in Borderlands 3. Its attacks include:
- Elemental Orb - the Skag will charge up and toss a massive elemental orb, that drops smaller ones from it, upon impact it leaves a puddle of its element.
- Elemental Spit - the Skag will spit an orb of its element directly at the Vault Hunter, can chain this attack.
- Ground Slam - close range slam with an elemental shock wave
- Immunity - completely immune to whatever element it is imbued with

Notes
- The Skag of Survival has an increased chance of dropping the legendary class mods Bloodletter and Breaker.
- The Skag of Survival appears much older than other badass skags as it has many more bones protruding from its body and face.
