Skag Gully is a ditch with big caves and the tallest mountain on Pandora. It is located east of The Arid Badlands. You will see a lot of skag dens, as well as the first boss enemy, Nine-Toes in his hideout. It is pretty much a tutorial level, teaching you more gameplay and HUD basics.

Background

While there isn't much in-game info about this area, from the start you may see what appeared to bee a caved-in mine shaft.

Notes

• This area has more skags than most, if not all, other areas in the game.
• When coming up to Scar from the east, before you get to the rock bridge look out to some wind turbines, look below them and there is the biggest Rakk Hive in the game.
• Scag gully has the only solar panals in the game, apperently powering the entrace new-u station and vending machines. How fun!
