Shredifier is a legendary assault rifle in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Vladof. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Titan located in The Slaughter Shaft on Pandora.

Special Weapon Effects

Speed kills. – Greatly decreased spool time, greatly increased magazine size and fire rate. Slightly reduced damage.

Usage & Description

The Shredifier is the definition of a bullet hose: it deals passable damage per shot, but has a blazing firing speed that allows it to mow down enemies at the cost of extreme ammo consumption. Due to it generating high amounts of recoil, aiming consistently for critical spots can be very difficult.

Moze is able to make excellent use of the Shredifier due to many of her skills decreasing ammo consumption or granting ammo regeneration. As Redistribution scales with magazine size, the Shredifier is able to gain bullets back at a high rate, allowing it to keep firing for extended periods of time (especially if specced into The Iron Bank). Click, Click... will additionally grant the weapon an increase in damage as its magazine empties; when used in tandem with Redistribution, Moze can deliberately keep the Shredifier almost empty and return bullets to its magazine on crit for a long-lasting damage boost. Alternatively, if specced into Forge (especially in combination with The Iron Bank), she will regenerate ammo nearly as fast as she can shoot it, and if the fire rate is high enough, it may slowly deplete the magazine, allowing Click, Click... to remain active.

Notable Variants

Super Shredifier – The Shredifier with the "Dual Chaingun barrel" attachment, which increases its fire rate by 25% when in use. It is similar to regular Shredifier otherwise.
