Shotgun 1340 is a Unique Hyperion shotgun, and one of two potential rewards for completing the side-mission Out of Body Experience.
The rogue Loader #1340 A.I. core is installed in a Hyperion shotgun by Marcus Kincaid after the events of the mission, where it seems to express great enthusiasm in helping the Vault Hunters kill their enemies.

Notes
- The voice module triggers upon firing, reloading, swapping to Shotgun 1340, or using the shotgun's scope.
- Fun trick, equip the shotgun, then rapidly change it until it starts saying two things at once. Un-equip it and from then until you leave the game, every time you zoom, fire, kill, critical hit or reload with another gun it will say something as though you still have the shotgun equipped.
