Shooting Star is a legendary shield in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Pangolin. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Turnkey Tim located in Floodmoor Basin on Eden-6.
Special Weapon Effects[]
Don't look up. – When depleted, melee hits spawn a shooting star projectile that deals damage to the target.
Usage & Description[]
Shooting Star can be used as supplemental damage to melee strikes, but its usefulness is situational depending on the area, working best in wide, open spaces. When used indoors, the projectile will harmlessly strike the ceiling for no effect. Even outdoors, any nearby structures or terrain may block the projectile if tall enough.
Trivia[]
- The Shooting Star is a returning shield from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel but as a Pangolin shield instead of a Scav roid shield.
