Shock Rakks are enemies encountered in Borderlands 3. They are larger and more dangerous than their smaller cousins and are easily identified by a electric-blue sphere surrounding them.

Strategy
Shock Rakks are medium-sized rakks which fly straight into their intended victims. A single blow by a large talon in their tails can completely deplete shields and take a considerable portion of target's health. What makes them even more dangerous is their ability to transfer their status effect to any nearby lesser rakks and immunity to shock damage.
Being fleshy targets, Shock Rakks are vulnerable to incendiary damage.

- In True Vault Hunter Mode and Mayhem Mode they are renamed Voltaic Rakk.
