Shade Malechs are enemies encountered in the Guns, Love, and Tentacles expansion for Borderlands 3.

Strategy
These spectral apparitions are conjured onto the field by either a Nightmare Malech or an Ascendant Malech. Once spawned, they will relentlessly track down any aggressor and close in for a melee. Generally weak, they pose a minor threat, but serve more as a distraction from more significant threats. They are more susceptible to Shock damage.
Notes
- In Mayhem Mode and True Vault Hunter Mode they are renamed Ghast Malechar.
