- For the pearlescent assault rifle in Borderlands 2, see Sawbar.
Sawbar is a legendary assault rifle manufactured by COV. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Borman Nates located in Meridian Outskirts on Promethea.
Special Weapon Effects
Suppressing fires! – Always incendiary, reduced overheat rate. At long distance, shots fired split into three projectiles that travel out at an angle before exploding.
Usage & Description
At the appropriate distance, the Sawbar is capable of hitting enemies behind cover with the explosions, making it effective against large enemies at the proper range.
Notes
- The Sawbar is a returning weapon from Borderlands 2 but as a legendary weapon instead of pearlescent.
- After a 3/12/2020 hotfix, the Sawbar had its damage increased. Additionally, the timing of the projectile split is now sooner than before.
