Sand Pirates are an enemy faction introduced in Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty.

Types

Normal

Anchorman - Anchormen wield two anchors, and can swing them around at melee or ranged distances. They can reflect bullets by guarding with their anchors.

Corsair - Corsairs are armed with two scimitars. They move up close to attack and dodge with ninja-like movements, and can sometimes disappear.

Cursed Pirate - Cursed Pirates appear with half of their max health. Their melee attacks can drain enemies' health and add it to their own.

Grogmaster - Grogmasters are Suicide Psychos armed with Molotov Cocktails. The Molotovs can be shot out of their hands, causing a fire explosion.

Pillager - Psycho pirates.

Pirate

Powder Monkey - Powder Monkeys are Pirates armed with shotguns and barrel-shaped grenades. They have explosive barrels strapped to their backs, which can be detonated with gunfire. Upon detonation, the explosion will release smaller grenades, similar to a MIRV grenade.

Rapscallion

Swabbie - Midget Psycho pirates.

Whaler - Whalers are armed with harpoons, and will attack at a range. If a player is hit by a harpoon, he or she will be slowed down for a few seconds.

Minelayer - Minelayers carry a large cannon on their backs from which they launch deep sea mines at a distance.

Badasses

Badass Cannoneer

Lil Sis - A unique midget that spawns at DJ Tanner's radio station at Magnys Lighthouse. He is always found with Mr. Bubbles.

Mr. Bubbles - A unique Anchorman that spawns at DJ Tanner's radio station. He is always found with Lil Sis.

Bosses

Master Gee the Invincible - One of the two raidbosses in Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty. He, along with Hyperius the Invincible, are Seraph Guardians, and can only be fought once a day.

Trivia

  • Corsairs appear as Pirate Ninjas in True Vault Hunter Mode. This is a reference to the theoretical "Pirates vs. Ninjas" conflict.
  • Mr. Bubbles and Lil Sis are references to the BioShock series' Big Daddy and Little Sister.
